Write Around the Corner on April 6:  Jax Poetry Fest

We’re so pleased to join with local poetry therapy group Hope At Hand to present a workshop during the brand new Jax Poetry Fest at MOCA during Art Walk.  Our 90-minute workshop is called Song of the Soul, and it involves writing, poetry, and… the ukulele.  Yup. Be there.  You won’t be disappointed.  Open to men and women. Register HERE.

Write Around the Corner on May 15:  Write + Hike + Eat

We’re super excited to team up with Down to Earth Farm and The Sierra Club for another “Write Around the Corner” event. It’s a Write + Hike + Eat, including a 1.5-hour workshop on journaling techniques to use on the hiking trail, followed by an all-organic potluck and a private hike on the Down to Earth Farm trails with our intrepid organic farmer, Brian Lapinski. He’ll show us all of his wonderful vegetable farm amid the flora and fauna of Jacksonville’s Westside.  And there will be chickens.  And goats. And other cool stuff.  Both men and women are welcome to attend this event. Only 15 spots so sign up ASAP!  You can register HERE. Open to men and women.

Do you enjoy working with images and collage? If your soul cries out for creative expression beyond words, this 3-week series with Jennifer Wolfe and certified instructor Stephanie Durham will help you use creativity to get in touch with your soul side and put a new tool in your toolbox for self-understanding and creative self expression.  Join us!  Register here. Joint program with Jacksonville’s own Hope At Hand.

  1. From Bobbi Hanks:

    August 26, 2013

I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to tell you what a wonderful evening you provided for my Bosom Buddies. It was one of my all time favorite programs, and I’ve had a zillion of them. You have a very special way of bringing out creativity in people who have never shown any inkling of it before. I think you really touched everyone’s hearts, especially mine. You have a very special way about you and the topper was your ukelele playing. Wow!!

    With hugs and hope,
